Aspen Acres Campground is a medium sized campground that is nestled in the less traveled San Isabel National Forest in central Colorado. Aspen Acres Campground is off the beaten path, away from city life and traffic, and in the very small mountain town of San Isabel. We are also hiring for The Lodge at San Isabel and The Pine Lodge. We are family owned and operated. Our core values include respect for the land, our campers, and our employees.
Our mission is to provide a safe, clean, and beautiful environment for people to enjoy in their RV, tent, or a cabin. We want to share the peace and beauty our mountain lends so our guests can go back home with memories in their minds and joy in their hearts.
2020 was our first camping season open since purchasing the business that had been closed for 2 years prior. Opening during a global health pandemic was a challenge and a joy. People were so excited to be in nature and out of their homes. The weekends were full from late May through mid-September and the weekdays had a very consistent amount of people June-August. We opened our camp store in July with a few items and will expand those options for 2021. Ice and propane were our best sellers.
Based on the amount of new campers sold in 2020, we are expecting continued growth in number of campers coming to visit us and more events like weddings and family reunions.
We are hiring high energy, detail oriented, positive people, with a go getter work ethic to be part of our “family.” Our beautiful, peaceful, off-the-beaten-path campground is a wonderful place to work in the outdoors, fresh air, and tranquility of a small town!
Housekeeping:
Experienced cleaning staff wanted! We are looking for motived, excited, detail oriented, team players to help clean our cabins, bathhouse, outfitter tents, office areas, and restaurant areas at Aspen Acres Campground, The Lodge, and The Pine Lodge.

Maintenance / Handyman:
We are looking for someone that can help keep the property in good working order. Needs to have experience with plumbing, electrical and outdoor maintenance like fixing fences, mowing, weed-eating, wood cutting w/ chainsaw, and filling propane tanks. Also handy with vehicle maintenance – pickups, atv’s. utv’s, and tractor upkeep.

Restaurant:
Looking for team players that are high energy, professional, and motived to work in a fun restaurant as a server, food prep, dishwaher, and/or busser. Some experience necessary.

Office / Retail Clerk:
We have 2 offices that need a someone who’s professional to answer phones, take camping reservations, use the online software, keep the stores stocked, help customers find the right merchandise and/or camping spot. This position will also need someone who will work with renting boats, paddleboards, and other lake equipment. Must be detail oriented and have computer skills – email (gmail and outlook), Microsoft office suite, and the ability and willingness to learn campground software and a Point Of Sale system.
